 The
new redesigned Sartorius GE Series replaces the ever successful
GM Series known worldwide for superior
performances throughout the world especially in the jewelry
industry. New body style is ergonomically designed
with a sleek look and rounded corners. Now all Sartorius
GE Series come standard with a bi directional RS-232 interface
allowing communication to a pc or Sartorius printer.
The GE Series is brand new for 2006 and is in stock for
immediate delivery. Unlike many other balance manufacturers
the Sartorius GE portable series operate on standard AA
batteries while many other brands make you pay over $100
for a proprietary designed NiCd or lead acid battery costing
you a fortune. It's always nice to be able to go to the
local store to purchase standard off the shelf AA alkaline
batteries in our opinion.
Nice
price (low budget) precious metal scales for weighing
small quantities of precious metals in production and
workshops. Handy 1/100 and 1/10 g scales that feature
high Sartorius-brand quality. For exact weighing
of relatively small quantities of precious metals in production
and workshops.
Sartorius'
GE series is competitively priced and packed with features,
including a high grade stainless steel weighing pan, easy-to-read
LCD, five application programs including mass unit  conversion,
counting, animal weighing, net totaling and % weighing.
Available options include carrying case, RS-232C
cable, printer, remote
display, calibration masses, and external battery
pack. Engineered & Designed in Germany and now
manufactured in the USA.
Rugged,
easy-to-use GE Series are ideal as a school balance for
the educational market, as a second balance, and for remote
use away from an AC power source. Mechanical protection
design of the weighing system against side impact and
overload makes the Sartorius GE Series one of our most
requested scales. If you want a simple to use your
scale the Sartorius Economy GE is exactly the right choice
for you. Additional features include:
- More than 7-kg weighing capacity with 1/10
g and 1,500 g with 1/100 readability
- Space-saving housing
- Stainless steel weighing pan
- Easy to operate
- Can be toggled at the touch of a key
between any 2 of 19 mass units, such as between g and ozt,
or dwt and ct. Weighing modes include: grams, kilograms,
carats, pounds, ounces, troy ounces, taels, grains, pennyweight,
milligrams, parts per pound, mommes, austrian carats, tola,
baht, mesghal and lb/oz.
- All keys feature positive click action
and provide excellent tactile feedback so you are sure that
a function has been activated
- Built-in application programs for counting,
weighing in percent, and net-total formulation
- RS-232 interface is standard with every
model
- AC Adapter or 8 AA batteries ideal for
use in the field with up to 11 hours of operation (GE1302 & GE2102
AC operation only)
